Thermique towel warmer: One hot piece of glass

Towel warmers are a great little splurge items to have during that date of year to chase away that early AM chill when you step out of the shower. Unfortunately, they usually take up a lot of space, not to mention some wall breaking for the plumbing or electrical lines that heat them up.

For me, that’s just a little too much work for a warm, fluffy towel.

Thermique’s new freestanding, heated glass towel warmer pretty much

solves these problems though. All it needs is a GFCI outlet–no messy retrofitting work needed. And while its average size is 37×28 inches, its solid clear glass design makes the towel warmer (out in January for within $1,000 to $1,500) feel less overpowering.

Perfect for a small bathroom like mine. My only concern? Accidently walking into a hot pane of glass while in my just-woke-up grogginess.

Is a warm towel worth it?
